My name is Daniel Carlock. I am a former pastor with years of experience in student ministry and discipleship. Through that work and my time teaching ESL in China, I have developed a deep conviction that God has called me to support Christian families raising children in cross-cultural contexts. My wife, 王金华 (Anna), has a heart for homeschooling and serving families. We are currently based in China but are prayerfully preparing a long-term move to Phuket, Thailand in the coming years to build a faith-based Art Studio • Christian Bookstore • Community Hub.

I served as a Pastor, Student Pastor and Ocean Camp Director in the U.S. for years, where I walked with young people and families through faith, discipleship, and real-life challenges. Later, I taught ESL in China, gaining a deep appreciation for cross-cultural ministry and the needs of families raising children in a complex world. My wife and I have a shared burden for Christian families — especially those who are navigating living abroad and in socio-economic uncertainty. We see the isolation many face and the opportunity to create community that points people to Christ. This vision for a faith-based Community Hub in Phuket flows directly from our combined experiences in pastoral care, education, and cross-cultural family life. We are taking this one faithful step at a time while continuing my remote work and building necessary legal foundations.

We aim to establish a semi-membership-based Christian Community center in the Greater Phuket area. We will offer: parent workshops, curriculum support, social events, and pastoral encouragement — particularly serving families. We are currently in the preparation phase: consulting with Thai lawyers on legal structure, building connections with the local Christian community, and seeking the Lord’s guidance on timing.
