Currently serving inTexas, United States
Hi! my name is Noelle VanderWoude. I grew up in Masachusetts but currently live at YWAM Wylie in Texas. I have a passion to serve God fully, and share his love with others through service and discipleship. I also have a love for wildlife photography, animals, and hiking.
God called me to missions the summer before my junior year of high school through a youth missions trip to Rhode Island with my home church, First Congregational Church of Hamilton. I also spent a summer working as a photographer at a christian camp, Camp Berea in New Hampshire, which furthered my passion for missions. As I entered junior year of high school, I knew missions was something I wanted to pursue. In 2025, after high school graduation, I enrolled in the Discipleship Training School with YWAM Wylie, preparing me for my first overseas mission trip to Uganda in January. My time in Uganda was a life changing experience during which God called me to pursue full time ministry. I have just completed three months of ministry training at YWAM Wylie and will now join the staff there, helping to expand the vital work of missions both locally and abroad.
YWAM stands for Youth With A Mission. The YWAM organization works to disciple and send out young people to the missions field. YWAM has over 1,200 bases around the world. As a staff member at YWAM's base in Wylie, Texas, I am able to be involved in many different ministry areas both within the community, and overseas.
